We want your quality used kitchenwares, small appliances and cookbooks. A few brands we love: Le Creuset, Staub, Dansk, Mauviel, All-Clad, Breville. We offer 50% store credit or 40% in cash. We reserve the right to price items and mark them down to sell. 

Our Mission is to  build community around food sovereignty. The better you know how to use the food in your garden, at the market, or in your pantry, the closer you are to being able to feed yourself and your family. We use cookbooks to become better cooks and to better utilize the food resources that surround us.  

We designed our shop to feel like you're visiting a good cheffy friend's house. You'll find a kitchen, dining room, and library to peruse at our Alberta Street store, full with carefully curated new and used books, indie food magazines, rare and antiquarian titles, kitchenwares, linens, and wine.

We call our cooking classes Book Workshops, and they're a great way to get acquainted with a cookbook. We pick our favorite books and invite you in to get a taste of what that book has to offer. It's kind of like a dinner party, where we make and eat everything together, and you have the option to go home with a book.
